The map below provides access to a significant part of the audio data collected in the AlpiLinK<\/a><\/strong> project 2023-2025 (by 4 February 2026: 48,028\u00a0<\/span>audio recordings) and the preceding VinKo<\/strong><\/a> project (2018-2022: 65,415 audio recordings), i.e., more than 113,000 audio recordings. After selecting a stimulus from the drop-down menu at the top left, e.g. “Mario ieri ha ballato tanto con Sara” (Yesterday Mario danced a lot with Sara) in the \u201cSentences\u201d section, the map shows all locations for which there is at least one audio recording present. The boundary lines of the municipalities have the color of the respective linguistic variety. In the menu on the right, you can filter by variety, i.e. the individual varieties can be shown or hidden on the map. If audio from more than one linguistic variety is present in a single location, this is indicated by stripes. For example, in Tischlbong\/Paluce\/Paluzza, there is audio available both in Tischlbongerisch\/Timavese (Germanic minority language) as well as in Friulian (Romance), so the municipality is striped in yellow\/blue.<\/p>\n

The AlpiLinK data can be found in the sections “Sentences” and “Images”, the VinKo data in the sections “Sentences”, “Stories”, and “Sounds” (only for the regions Trentino-South Tyrol and Veneto and the municipalities of Plodn\/Sappada and Zahre\/Sauris, located in Friuli).<\/p>\n
